Pick your spot to move around in. You might be flexible on decoration but know you want a particular flavour or you might want to spend more on a photo design and keep other party decorations simple.

Compare Cakes at the Same Weight

Two cakes might seem like they have the same price but they give you different amounts. Choose the weight you want on each product, then compare prices.

Read what the chosen option consists of. Assess the flavour, filling, finish and decoration rather than just relying on the photograph. If a picture shows a topper or other accessory, please make sure it is included in the order.

If possible, refer to the product’s serving guidelines and consider how many people will be eating the cake. Picking the lowest price is less useful if the cake is too small for the gathering.

Choose One Detail That Makes the Cake Personal

It’s easy to personalise. If the child is a fan of the colour yellow, a cake in that colour with their name on it may be just the thing for the celebration. Short greeting for an anniversary adds a unique element to a familiar flavour.

Here are some design requests, but please prioritise the most important feature. The price and preparation time can vary with the product depending on a photograph, colour preference or special decoration.

If you want something other than what is offered, ask if it can be done and how much it will cost before you pay.

Decide Where Your Budget Will Make the Most Difference

This may help you to narrow down the selection without having to pick several extras that may add little to your plans. For instance, if the family is mainly interested in enjoying their favourite chocolate cake, quantity and flavour might be more important than elaborate theme.
