Some orders are not possible to accept and may be cancelled by us. Any order can be cancelled at any time. This includes any unforeseeable circumstances, such as a limitation on the quantity or pricing information or credit limitations. We will notify you or contact you before cancelling any order.

Orders placed on the same day are processed immediately and cannot be cancelled or modified. You can cancel or modify an order via email between 7:00 AM and 1:00 AM 7 days a week. We will modify or cancel your order if it has not been completed or is not ready for delivery. You will be charged if the order is already prepared/dispatched.

In other cases of order modification/cancellation, please give at least 48 hours’ advance notice.

Cakesportal Florist pvt ltd is the company that owns and operates www.cakesportal.in. It was established under the Companies Act 2013 . These Terms and Conditions, along with Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, govern your relationship with Cakesportal Florist pvt ltd (hereinafter “Cakesportal”. These Terms and Policies are binding on you as a legal equivalent to a signed contract. Cakesportal Florist pvt ltd will be responsible to fulfill your order, including the issue of invoice and delivery to recipient. In no event shall any affiliate, director, representative or officer, nor consultant, be liable for transactions made through this website.

Acceptance of this agreement will be made by your participation as a customer.

We try to provide access to our services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.cakesportal.in. We may have to close the website from time-to-time due to maintenance reasons or unavoidable circumstances. You acknowledge and agree to this exception. Cakesportal has the right to discontinue or add services to its website at any time. Cakesportal may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion. These changes will be effective as they are posted on the website. These terms must be read every time you visit the website to use or transact.

If a product you ordered is unavailable, out of stock, or cannot be arranged at the delivery location, we may notify you and offer a suitable alternative, replacement, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or eligible refund as per the order status and Refund Policy. If we are unable to reach the customer/recipient in time, Cakesportal may take a reasonable decision to avoid occasion-related delay, including arranging a suitable substitute of equal or higher value where possible.

The website has the information of products. You are offering to buy when you place an order. We must accept such an offer. Acceptance of your offer does not occur when we acknowledge your order via email, SMS/push notification. 

Cakesportal has the right to reject or cancel your offer/order, in whole or in part, after receiving the order. Acceptance of an order is subject to product availability, delivery feasibility, payment confirmation, verification, and compliance with these Terms. Before accepting or processing an order, we may request additional information or verification. You must provide accurate recipient details, including name, contact number, complete address, pin code, and any delivery instructions required for successful delivery.

Cakesportal may cancel all or part of your order. You agree to this:

(a) You agree that Cakesportal may cancel all or part of your order. Cakesportal will not charge you credit/debit cards or bank accounts for the cancelled portion.

Cakesportal accepts Visa Master Card, RuPay and American Express Debit cards, Internet Banking and Digital wallets. All payments made through the Cakesportal Website payment gateway are subject to the terms and conditions of these third-party payment gateways.

You will receive an Order Confirmation email and SMS shortly after placing an order online. This will contain all details about your order including the order number that will be needed in case you need to contact Cakesportal.

If you do not receive an Order Confirmation email and SMS, please contact us at customer@cakesportal.in.

When your order is delivered, you will also receive a Delivery confirmation e-mail.

Cakesportal will deliver the products to the recipient according to the delivery option chosen by the User when placing an order. Delivery times are dependent on the delivery address you provide. Cakesportal offers Three delivery options to customers: Fixed Time Deliveries, Midnight & Standard Delivery. Cakesportal charges a nominal fee to customers who choose fixed-time delivery & Midnight Delivery. These charges are displayed on the webpage when you select the delivery time. Cakesportal Fixed Time Delivery policy requires that your product be delivered within the time frame you choose.

However, delivery time is not guaranteed where delay is caused by factors beyond Cakesportal’s reasonable control, including Force Majeure Events, courier/vendor delays, traffic, weather, strikes, lockdowns, recipient unavailability, incorrect address, or other unavoidable circumstances.

These include travel delays caused by courier partners or transporters, weather conditions, strikes, lockdown, and other unforeseen circumstances. We will contact you in such instances. For updates, please check your e-mails regularly.

Flowers can be delivered fully bloomed or semi-bloomed. We will attempt delivery once because cakes are perishable. We cannot redirect the delivery to another address.

We recommend that you place your order at the least five days before any major event or festival.

Hand delivered products cannot be shipped with courier products. These products may not reach the recipient in two days or at different times.

  • Orders must be received by Cakesportal prior to 6:00 PM, Monday -Sunday, IST, for same-day standard delivery
  • Orders must be received by Cakesportal prior to 6:30 PM, Monday -Sunday, IST, for same-day delivery.
  • Orders for same-day delivery at midnight must be received by Cakesportal prior to 7:00 PM, Monday – Sunday, IST.

The delivery time requested is not binding. The estimated delivery time will depend on availability and destination.

Delivery could take longer because of:

  1. Weather disasters
  2. Political disturbances
  3. Unexpected circumstances

We will contact you immediately in such instances. For updates, please check your e-mails regularly.

We recommend that you place your orders at least five days before major events.

Hand delivered products cannot be shipped with courier products.

We will only attempt delivery once for perishable items such as cakes and flowers. If delivery fails to take place during the attempt, the order will still be charged and no redelivery will be allowed. The following cases will be considered when we consider an order:

  • False shipping/delivery address
  • Not available for the recipient
  • Premises locked.
  • Refusal to accept delivery by the recipient

In case if the recipient is not available, he/she can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate/reception/neighbour.

In the event of a dispute regarding delivery, proof of delivery will be provided.

For products delivered by hand, deliveries are made on Sundays or on Public Holidays.

The order will be cancelled if there is not someone available at the shipping address to take delivery. In such instances, there are no refunds, cancellations or liability. As mentioned above, we will do our best to make sure that you are satisfied.

  • To schedule a delivery time, call the recipient.
  • Leave a note asking the recipient to contact the florist to arrange a delivery.
  • Place the arrangement/bloom in a protected area of your home (porch or garage, or any other entrance).
  • Place the arrangement/bombay with a neighbor, and leave a note on the door of the recipient with this information.

Midnight Deliveries

Delivery will take place on the delivery date chosen, subject to all other terms in the Shipping Disclaimer. Notice: The delivery date must be chosen at least one day before the occasion.

Delivery within a Fixed time

Fixed-time delivery slots are preferred delivery windows and are subject to availability, location, traffic, weather, vendor readiness, recipient availability, and other delivery conditions. A reasonable variation may occur depending on operational and third-party delivery circumstances.

Courier Products Delivery

We will inform you about delivery by courier or on the product selection. Cakesportal makes no representations or warranties regarding the delivery of orders that are placed through courier agencies or third parties, despite the provisions in these Delivery Terms. The Terms and Conditions of the courier company that delivers the products are applicable. The delivery date for products shipped by our courier partners is only an estimate. You may receive your order one day before or two days after the delivery date.

The delivery dates requested for such products are not binding. The estimated delivery date will depend on availability and destination. These deliveries are not possible on Sundays or Public Holidays.

Prior to delivering your order, our courier partners will not call you. We recommend that you give an address where someone can receive it. You cannot redirect the delivery to another address.

All courier orders are carefully packaged and shipped from our warehouse. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number to help you track it. Sometimes, holidays or strikes can cause delays for courier partners.

Third-party courier agencies are not allowed to deliver on Sundays or Public Holidays.

If the recipient is not available, we will try delivery again. In the event that the delivery address is wrong or the recipient refuses to accept delivery, delivery shall be considered to have been made. The courier company will try to deliver the package twice before it returns to its original destination.

If delivery is not completed during the attempts, the order will still be charged.

The following cases will be considered:

  • No shipping/delivery address.
  • Not available for the recipient
  • Premises locked.
  • Refusal to accept delivery by the recipient

In case if the recipient is not available, he/she can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate/reception/neighbour.

Delivery to Hospitals Policy

Our Cakesportal florists are skilled in delivering flowers to hospitals. Please include the following information when placing an order

  1. Name of the hospital
  2. The full address of the hospital
  3. Phone number of the hospital
  4. Name of the recipient
  5. Number of the room or ward

Because most hospitals don’t allow florists to deliver to individual rooms, we will ship your order according to facility procedures. Many ICU patients are prohibited from receiving flowers. Before placing any orders, please check the hospital’s guidelines.

Delivery to Hotels Policy

Our florists are skilled at delivering flowers to hotels. Please make sure to include the following information:

  1. Hotel name
  2. The full address of the hotel
  3. Phone number of the recipient as well as the hotel
  4. Name of the recipient
  5. Number of the recipient’s room
  6. If applicable, name of the tour company

The order will not be accepted if the recipient does not check in at the hotel by the delivery date. The order will be considered executed if the recipient has not checked out by the delivery date.

Delivery to Wedding Halls/Marriages Policy

We may not be able guarantee delivery of ordered items to Wedding Ceremonies/ Marriage Halls. We will however ensure delivery to the responsible host.

Delivery to Hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises

Our florists are experienced at making deliveries to hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises. Please make sure to include the following information:

  1. Hostel name
  2. The full address of the hostel
  3. Phone number of the recipient or the hostel
  4. Name of the recipient
  5. Number of the recipient’s room

After coordinating with the delivery person, the recipient must either collect the delivery at the gate or send someone to his/her place. You can hand the order to security or any other responsible person. Otherwise, the order will remain at the reception.

Delivery to Remote Locations and Towns

Only cities that are listed in our Data bank can receive orders. Remote delivery depends on the availability and location of our associate or store. We are unable to guarantee delivery times to remote locations.

Please note that cakes, flowers and other perishable items are sourced locally at the delivery address. It is possible that deliveries of natural plants, flowers and cakes may not be available to such addresses.

National holidays are not considered holiday days. Delivery of the same would take place on the next day. Floods/ heavy rains/ National Bandh/elections/curfews/traffic jams/festivities times/regulated traffic movements, or any other impediments which may hinder delivery of the order. Cakesportal reserves all rights to change the delivery date.

Delivery to airports, Metro stations and railway stations

We don’t deliver to airports, Metro stations or railway stations.

Deemed Delivery

For perishable, customized, occasion-based, hand-delivered, and locally sourced products, Cakesportal may attempt delivery once unless otherwise agreed by Cakesportal. If delivery cannot be completed due to customer/recipient-side reasons, the order may be treated as executed/deemed delivered and no refund, cancellation, modification, or redelivery shall be applicable. The order may be considered as executed in the following cases (Deemed Delivery):

  • Shipping/delivery address incorrect
  • Not available for the recipient
  • Premises locked.
  • Refusal to accept delivery by the recipient

If the recipient is unavailable, the customer may instruct the delivery person to leave the product at the gate, reception, security desk, or with a neighbour/responsible person, where feasible. If the customer has requested surprise delivery, Cakesportal may avoid contacting the recipient unless required for delivery completion. Cancellations, refunds, or modifications may not be accepted in deemed-delivery cases caused by incorrect address, recipient unavailability, premises locked, refusal to accept delivery, or non-response from customer/recipient. Please verify recipient availability, address, phone number, and delivery instructions before placing the order.

Cakesportal delivery personnel or representatives may request delivery acknowledgement, delivery photo, call record, message confirmation, GPS/location proof, courier tracking update, vendor confirmation, or refusal record as proof of delivery/attempted delivery. Such records may be used as proof in case of any delivery dispute.

We will be glad to help you if you place two or more identical orders. If the order was not prepared or delivered, we will issue a full refund. We will contact the customer to confirm that we have received the exact same order twice if we discover it. If the customer cannot be reached, we will make the final decision and notify you

Note: If our team or system does not detect a duplicate order in time, the order may be processed automatically. If you believe you have placed a duplicate order, please contact us immediately at customer@cakesportal.in with your order details.

You agree to pay the applicable price for the product or service at the time that you submit your order (Product Prices), any delivery fees (Delivery Charges), and any taxes applicable (defined below). Cakesportal will not withhold any taxes, fees, duties or other governmental charges arising out of the purchase of products and services.

Except as stated in the Terms and conditions, all payments are non-refundable. Late fees may be charged at a rate of 1.5% per calendar month or higher under Applicable Law. All collection costs, attorney fees and court costs incurred for the collection of past due amounts will be paid by you.

The company has imposed a “Convenience Fee” to facilitate the purchase of a product and ordering delivery anywhere in India. This includes company’s Internet and system handling fees.

These Convenience fees are related to the Order value.

Delivery of orders is subject to payment in Cakesportal’s account. The order will be cancelled if payment has not been received by Cakesportal. Cakesportal accepts Visa, Master Card and RuPay payments.

You agree that you are not using any Credit card or Debit card fraudulently while making transactions on the website. For such transactions, you agree to give accurate and current information about your card. You will be responsible for any fraudulent use of your card. The responsibility to prove otherwise is solely yours. Cakesportal does not assume responsibility for any transaction that is made without your knowledge and consent.

Credit Card: All domestic and international cards accepted

Any person who is legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 may use or transact on www.cakesportal.in. You must be at least 18 years of age to use or transact on www.cakesportal.in. If you are below 18 years of age, you may use the website only through a parent or legal guardian. These terms and conditions refer to the user/customer as “You”, “User”, “Customer”, or “Your”.

You agree to be contacted by Cakesportal electronically via SMS, e-mail or other electronic communication, whether it is verbally, physically, or through postal mail, subject to our terms of service and your registration. Cakesportal will provide you with all communications, including notices, disclosures, and agreements by email or through any other medium. This is in compliance with any legal requirement that such communications must be in writing.

We may contact the recipient in some cases before we deliver. You can request that we not contact the recipient by mailing us on customer@cakesportal.in 

We are in the occasion-based gifting industry and would like to remind our customers for future years. To assist you with our free Occasions Reminder Service, we will contact you via phone calls, and email.

Notice: Product quality, damaged product, wrong product, or defective product complaints must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with order number, clear images/videos, and complete issue details. Non-delivery complaints must be raised within 15 days from the scheduled delivery date. Complaints raised after the applicable complaint window may not be accepted unless required by applicable law. Verified complaints may be resolved through replacement, redelivery, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or eligible refund as per the Refund Policy. We may request reverse pickup, product inspection, images/videos, or other confirmation before approving replacement, redelivery, or refund.

Refunds are allowed only in genuine, eligible and approved cases as per these Terms and Conditions. If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different product, please contact us as soon as possible at customer@cakesportal.in with your order number, clear images/videos, delivery details, and any other information reasonably required to verify the issue.

Cakesportal may offer replacement, redelivery, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or refund depending on the nature of the complaint, product type, order status, delivery status, and availability. For perishable products such as cakes, flowers, plants, fruits, sweets, chocolates and similar gift items, refund or replacement will be considered only after verification by our support team.

Cakesportal cannot be held responsible or guarantee refunds in cases where:

  • The sender/customer provided an incorrect, incomplete, unreachable, or false delivery address.
  • The recipient was unavailable, premises were locked, the recipient refused delivery, or delivery could not be completed due to recipient/customer-side issues.
  • The product quality issue was caused by improper handling, storage, delay, damage, or misuse after delivery.
  • The complaint is raised after the applicable complaint window mentioned in these Terms.
  • The order has already been prepared, dispatched, attempted, delivered, or deemed delivered as per the Delivery & Shipping Policy.

If Cakesportal is unable to deliver all or part of an accepted order due to product unavailability, delivery limitations, operational issues, vendor/seller confirmation failure, or any other reason from our side, we will notify the customer and provide an eligible refund, replacement, coupon/store credit, or wallet credit for the undeliverable part, as applicable.

Refund Mode: Refunds may be issued to the original payment method, store wallet, coupon, or store credit depending on the reason for refund, payment mode, order status, and customer communication. If Cakesportal cancels an order due to non-availability or inability to deliver, the refund will normally be issued to the original payment method unless the customer agrees to coupon, wallet, or store credit.

Refund Processing Time: Once a refund is approved by Cakesportal, we will initiate/process the refund within 10 to 15 business days from the date of refund approval, subject to verification of order details, payment status, cancellation/refund reason, bank/payment gateway confirmation, and correct customer payment details.

After Cakesportal initiates the refund from its side, the time taken for the amount to reflect in the customer’s bank account, card, UPI, wallet, or original payment method may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card network, UPI provider, wallet provider, or other third-party payment processor. Cakesportal shall not be responsible for delays caused by such third parties after refund initiation.

Refund Delay and Compensation Limitation: In case of cancellation, non-delivery, failed delivery, wrong order, duplicate payment, defective product, service issue, or any other approved refund case, Cakesportal’s liability shall be limited to the eligible refund amount actually paid by the customer for the affected order/product/service, except where a higher liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Cakesportal shall not be liable to pay any additional compensation, penalty, interest, damages, mental agony charges, emotional distress charges, humiliation charges, opportunity loss, loss of occasion, legal notice charges, advocate fees, litigation expenses, courier charges, travel expenses, or any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising only due to refund processing delay, order cancellation, non-delivery, delivery delay, or service issue, except where such liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Delay in refund processing due to operational issues, seller/vendor confirmation, payment gateway settlement, bank delay, technical error, incorrect customer details, chargeback/dispute, suspected fraudulent transaction, force majeure, or third-party processing delay shall not be treated as fraud, cheating, or intentional misconduct by Cakesportal unless finally determined by a competent authority.

Nothing in this Refund Policy shall limit any statutory rights available to the customer under applicable Indian law.

We will not accept any requests for product exchanges.

Refunds, replacements, or redelivery may be considered only in genuine and verified cases. If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different product, you must email us at support@cakesportal.in or customer@cakesportal.in within 24 hours of receiving the product, along with your order number, clear images/videos, and complete details of the issue.

Our representative may ask for additional details, images, videos, or product condition confirmation. Your cooperation is required so that we can verify and resolve the complaint quickly.

Only in exceptional and verified cases will Cakesportal issue a refund for damaged or defective products. Depending on the nature of the complaint, Cakesportal may offer replacement, redelivery, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or refund. Once approved, refunds will be initiated/processed within 10 to 15 business days, subject to bank/payment gateway timelines and the Refund Policy.

  1. Only products that are covered by our warranty terms can be returned. These terms can be found under the product description section of our website. All orders placed via our website www.cakesportal.in are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects.
  2. Warranty is only available for manufacturing defects. It cannot be claimed on defects caused by mishandling or normal wear and tear.

These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license for this site. This is subject to your continued compliance with the Terms and Conditions. This site may be used only for your own personal, noncommercial use. You can download one copy of the materials on this site for non-commercial, personal home use. However, you must not remove any copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary notices.

Except as provided in this agreement, you are not allowed to modify, copy or distribute, transmit, broadcast, transmit or reproduce, publish or license, transfer or sell, mirror or frame, or use any information or materials obtained from or through the site without the written permission of its owner. Cakesportal requires that you use this site only for lawful, unauthorized or conflicting purposes. Cakesportal cannot guarantee that the website, servers, emails, SMS, WhatsApp messages, payment links, or other communications are free from viruses, malware, harmful components, technical errors, delays, or interruptions. Users are responsible for taking reasonable precautions while using the website, payment systems, and any downloaded or received content.

For any claim arising from an order, cancellation, refund, delay, non-delivery, failed delivery, defective product, wrong product, duplicate payment, service issue, website use, product use, third-party delivery, vendor/seller issue, or any transaction through the website, Cakesportal’s maximum liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the affected order/product/service, except where a higher liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Cakesportal does not voluntarily accept liability for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, including but not limited to mental agony, emotional distress, humiliation, loss of occasion, loss of goodwill, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, legal notice charges, advocate fees, litigation expenses, courier charges, travel expenses, or any other additional compensation beyond the eligible refund/replacement value, unless such liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Cakesportal and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives, vendors, sellers, delivery partners, courier partners, consultants, and service providers shall not be liable for delays, non-performance, failed delivery, refund delay, payment delay, or service failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, lockdowns, strikes, curfews, riots, political disturbance, natural calamities, bank/payment gateway delays, technical failures, incorrect customer details, recipient unavailability, force majeure events, courier delays, seller/vendor delays, or third-party processing delays.

Cakesportal and its affiliates are not liable for damages arising from the consumption, use, storage, handling, or misuse of products after delivery, or from products/services provided, fulfilled, manufactured, delivered, or processed by third parties, vendors, sellers, courier partners, or local delivery partners. Any claim relating to such third-party service or product issue may also need to be raised directly with the concerned third party where applicable.

This limitation of liability is an important condition for providing access to the website, services, products, and delivery network. This section shall prevail over any inconsistent or conflicting provision in these Terms, except to the extent such limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

Nothing in this section shall limit any statutory rights available to the customer under applicable Indian law.

Cakesportal may pursue legal action against any user who is suspected of engaging in fraudulent transactions on the site. This includes the collection costs, the cost of products, and the fees of lawyers. Cakesportal has the right to bring legal action against any User involved in fraudulent transactions on the Site.

We try to provide access to our services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.cakesportal.in. We may have to close the website from time-to-time due to maintenance reasons or unavoidable circumstances. You acknowledge and agree to this exception. Cakesportal has the right to discontinue or add services to its website at any time. Cakesportal may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion. These changes will be effective as they are posted on the website. These terms must be read every time you visit the website to use or transact.

If a product you ordered is unavailable, out of stock, or cannot be arranged at the delivery location, we may notify you and offer a suitable alternative, replacement, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or eligible refund as per the order status and Refund Policy. If we are unable to reach the customer/recipient in time, Cakesportal may take a reasonable decision to avoid occasion-related delay, including arranging a suitable substitute of equal or higher value where possible.

The website has the information of products. You are offering to buy when you place an order. We must accept such an offer. Acceptance of your offer does not occur when we acknowledge your order via email, SMS/push notification. 

Cakesportal has the right to reject or cancel your offer/order, in whole or in part, after receiving the order. Acceptance of an order is subject to product availability, delivery feasibility, payment confirmation, verification, and compliance with these Terms. Before accepting or processing an order, we may request additional information or verification. You must provide accurate recipient details, including name, contact number, complete address, pin code, and any delivery instructions required for successful delivery.

Cakesportal may cancel all or part of your order. You agree to this:

(a) You agree that Cakesportal may cancel all or part of your order. Cakesportal will not charge you credit/debit cards or bank accounts for the cancelled portion.

Cakesportal accepts Visa Master Card, RuPay and American Express Debit cards, Internet Banking and Digital wallets. All payments made through the Cakesportal Website payment gateway are subject to the terms and conditions of these third-party payment gateways.

You will receive an Order Confirmation email and SMS shortly after placing an order online. This will contain all details about your order including the order number that will be needed in case you need to contact Cakesportal.

When your order is delivered, you will also receive a Delivery confirmation e-mail.

Cakesportal will deliver the products to the recipient according to the delivery option chosen by the User when placing an order. Delivery times are dependent on the delivery address you provide. Cakesportal offers Three delivery options to customers: Fixed Time Deliveries, Midnight & Standard Delivery. Cakesportal charges a nominal fee to customers who choose fixed-time delivery & Midnight Delivery. These charges are displayed on the webpage when you select the delivery time. Cakesportal Fixed Time Delivery policy requires that your product be delivered within the time frame you choose.

However, delivery time is not guaranteed where delay is caused by factors beyond Cakesportal’s reasonable control, including Force Majeure Events, courier/vendor delays, traffic, weather, strikes, lockdowns, recipient unavailability, incorrect address, or other unavoidable circumstances.

These include travel delays caused by courier partners or transporters, weather conditions, strikes, lockdown, and other unforeseen circumstances. We will contact you in such instances. For updates, please check your e-mails regularly.

Flowers can be delivered fully bloomed or semi-bloomed. We will attempt delivery once because cakes are perishable. We cannot redirect the delivery to another address.

We recommend that you place your order at the least five days before any major event or festival.

Hand delivered products cannot be shipped with courier products. These products may not reach the recipient in two days or at different times.

  • Orders must be received by Cakesportal prior to 6:00 PM, Monday -Sunday, IST, for same-day standard delivery
  • Orders must be received by Cakesportal prior to 6:30 PM, Monday -Sunday, IST, for same-day delivery.
  • Orders for same-day delivery at midnight must be received by Cakesportal prior to 7:00 PM, Monday – Sunday, IST.

The delivery time requested is not binding. The estimated delivery time will depend on availability and destination.

Delivery could take longer because of:

  1. Weather disasters
  2. Political disturbances
  3. Unexpected circumstances

We will contact you immediately in such instances. For updates, please check your e-mails regularly.

We recommend that you place your orders at least five days before major events.

Hand delivered products cannot be shipped with courier products.

We will only attempt delivery once for perishable items such as cakes and flowers. If delivery fails to take place during the attempt, the order will still be charged and no redelivery will be allowed. The following cases will be considered when we consider an order:

  • False shipping/delivery address
  • Not available for the recipient
  • Premises locked.
  • Refusal to accept delivery by the recipient

In case if the recipient is not available, he/she can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate/reception/neighbour.

In the event of a dispute regarding delivery, proof of delivery will be provided.

For products delivered by hand, deliveries are made on Sundays or on Public Holidays.

The order will be cancelled if there is not someone available at the shipping address to take delivery. In such instances, there are no refunds, cancellations or liability. As mentioned above, we will do our best to make sure that you are satisfied.

  • To schedule a delivery time, call the recipient.
  • Leave a note asking the recipient to contact the florist to arrange a delivery.
  • Place the arrangement/bloom in a protected area of your home (porch or garage, or any other entrance).
  • Place the arrangement/bombay with a neighbor, and leave a note on the door of the recipient with this information.

Midnight Deliveries

Delivery will take place on the delivery date chosen, subject to all other terms in the Shipping Disclaimer. Notice: The delivery date must be chosen at least one day before the occasion.

Delivery within a Fixed time

Fixed-time delivery slots are preferred delivery windows and are subject to availability, location, traffic, weather, vendor readiness, recipient availability, and other delivery conditions. A reasonable variation may occur depending on operational and third-party delivery circumstances.

Courier Products Delivery

We will inform you about delivery by courier or on the product selection. Cakesportal makes no representations or warranties regarding the delivery of orders that are placed through courier agencies or third parties, despite the provisions in these Delivery Terms. The Terms and Conditions of the courier company that delivers the products are applicable. The delivery date for products shipped by our courier partners is only an estimate. You may receive your order one day before or two days after the delivery date.

The delivery dates requested for such products are not binding. The estimated delivery date will depend on availability and destination. These deliveries are not possible on Sundays or Public Holidays.

Prior to delivering your order, our courier partners will not call you. We recommend that you give an address where someone can receive it. You cannot redirect the delivery to another address.

All courier orders are carefully packaged and shipped from our warehouse. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number to help you track it. Sometimes, holidays or strikes can cause delays for courier partners.

Third-party courier agencies are not allowed to deliver on Sundays or Public Holidays.

If the recipient is not available, we will try delivery again. In the event that the delivery address is wrong or the recipient refuses to accept delivery, delivery shall be considered to have been made. The courier company will try to deliver the package twice before it returns to its original destination.

If delivery is not completed during the attempts, the order will still be charged.

  • Premises locked.
  • Refusal to accept delivery by the recipient

In case if the recipient is not available, he/she can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate/reception/neighbour.

Delivery to Hospitals Policy

Our Cakesportal florists are skilled in delivering flowers to hospitals. Please include the following information when placing an order

  1. Name of the hospital
  2. The full address of the hospital
  3. Phone number of the hospital
  4. Name of the recipient
  5. Number of the room or ward

Because most hospitals don’t allow florists to deliver to individual rooms, we will ship your order according to facility procedures. Many ICU patients are prohibited from receiving flowers. Before placing any orders, please check the hospital’s guidelines.

Delivery to Hotels Policy

Our florists are skilled at delivering flowers to hotels. Please make sure to include the following information:

  1. Hotel name
  2. The full address of the hotel
  3. Phone number of the recipient as well as the hotel
  4. Name of the recipient
  5. Number of the recipient’s room
  6. If applicable, name of the tour company

The order will not be accepted if the recipient does not check in at the hotel by the delivery date. The order will be considered executed if the recipient has not checked out by the delivery date.

Delivery to Wedding Halls/Marriages Policy

We may not be able guarantee delivery of ordered items to Wedding Ceremonies/ Marriage Halls. We will however ensure delivery to the responsible host.

Delivery to Hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises

Our florists are experienced at making deliveries to hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises. Please make sure to include the following information:

  1. Hostel name
  2. The full address of the hostel
  3. Phone number of the recipient or the hostel
  4. Name of the recipient
  5. Number of the recipient’s room

After coordinating with the delivery person, the recipient must either collect the delivery at the gate or send someone to his/her place. You can hand the order to security or any other responsible person. Otherwise, the order will remain at the reception.

Delivery to Remote Locations and Towns

Only cities that are listed in our Data bank can receive orders. Remote delivery depends on the availability and location of our associate or store. We are unable to guarantee delivery times to remote locations.

Please note that cakes, flowers and other perishable items are sourced locally at the delivery address. It is possible that deliveries of natural plants, flowers and cakes may not be available to such addresses.

National holidays are not considered holiday days. Delivery of the same would take place on the next day. Floods/ heavy rains/ National Bandh/elections/curfews/traffic jams/festivities times/regulated traffic movements, or any other impediments which may hinder delivery of the order. Cakesportal reserves all rights to change the delivery date.

Delivery to airports, Metro stations and railway stations

We don’t deliver to airports, Metro stations or railway stations.

Deemed Delivery

For perishable, customized, occasion-based, hand-delivered, and locally sourced products, Cakesportal may attempt delivery once unless otherwise agreed by Cakesportal. If delivery cannot be completed due to customer/recipient-side reasons, the order may be treated as executed/deemed delivered and no refund, cancellation, modification, or redelivery shall be applicable. The order may be considered as executed in the following cases (Deemed Delivery):

  • Shipping/delivery address incorrect
  • Not available for the recipient
  • Premises locked.
  • Refusal to accept delivery by the recipient

If the recipient is unavailable, the customer may instruct the delivery person to leave the product at the gate, reception, security desk, or with a neighbour/responsible person, where feasible. If the customer has requested surprise delivery, Cakesportal may avoid contacting the recipient unless required for delivery completion. Cancellations, refunds, or modifications may not be accepted in deemed-delivery cases caused by incorrect address, recipient unavailability, premises locked, refusal to accept delivery, or non-response from customer/recipient. Please verify recipient availability, address, phone number, and delivery instructions before placing the order.

Cakesportal delivery personnel or representatives may request delivery acknowledgement, delivery photo, call record, message confirmation, GPS/location proof, courier tracking update, vendor confirmation, or refusal record as proof of delivery/attempted delivery. Such records may be used as proof in case of any delivery dispute.

We will be glad to help you if you place two or more identical orders. If the order was not prepared or delivered, we will issue a full refund. We will contact the customer to confirm that we have received the exact same order twice if we discover it. If the customer cannot be reached, we will make the final decision and notify you

Note: If our team or system does not detect a duplicate order in time, the order may be processed automatically. If you believe you have placed a duplicate order, please contact us immediately at customer@cakesportal.in with your order details.

You agree to pay the applicable price for the product or service at the time that you submit your order (Product Prices), any delivery fees (Delivery Charges), and any taxes applicable (defined below). Cakesportal will not withhold any taxes, fees, duties or other governmental charges arising out of the purchase of products and services.

Except as stated in the Terms and conditions, all payments are non-refundable. Late fees may be charged at a rate of 1.5% per calendar month or higher under Applicable Law. All collection costs, attorney fees and court costs incurred for the collection of past due amounts will be paid by you.

The company has imposed a “Convenience Fee” to facilitate the purchase of a product and ordering delivery anywhere in India. This includes company’s Internet and system handling fees.

These Convenience fees are related to the Order value.

Delivery of orders is subject to payment in Cakesportal’s account. The order will be cancelled if payment has not been received by Cakesportal. Cakesportal accepts Visa, Master Card and RuPay payments.

You agree that you are not using any Credit card or Debit card fraudulently while making transactions on the website. For such transactions, you agree to give accurate and current information about your card. You will be responsible for any fraudulent use of your card. The responsibility to prove otherwise is solely yours. Cakesportal does not assume responsibility for any transaction that is made without your knowledge and consent.

Credit Card: All domestic and international cards accepted

Any person who is legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 may use or transact on www.cakesportal.in. You must be at least 18 years of age to use or transact on www.cakesportal.in. If you are below 18 years of age, you may use the website only through a parent or legal guardian. These terms and conditions refer to the user/customer as “You”, “User”, “Customer”, or “Your”.

You agree to be contacted by Cakesportal electronically via SMS, e-mail or other electronic communication, whether it is verbally, physically, or through postal mail, subject to our terms of service and your registration. Cakesportal will provide you with all communications, including notices, disclosures, and agreements by email or through any other medium. This is in compliance with any legal requirement that such communications must be in writing.

We may contact the recipient in some cases before we deliver. You can request that we not contact the recipient by mailing us on customer@cakesportal.in 

We are in the occasion-based gifting industry and would like to remind our customers for future years. To assist you with our free Occasions Reminder Service, we will contact you via phone calls, and email.

Notice: Product quality, damaged product, wrong product, or defective product complaints must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with order number, clear images/videos, and complete issue details. Non-delivery complaints must be raised within 15 days from the scheduled delivery date. Complaints raised after the applicable complaint window may not be accepted unless required by applicable law. Verified complaints may be resolved through replacement, redelivery, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or eligible refund as per the Refund Policy. We may request reverse pickup, product inspection, images/videos, or other confirmation before approving replacement, redelivery, or refund.

Refunds are allowed only in genuine, eligible and approved cases as per these Terms and Conditions. If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different product, please contact us as soon as possible at customer@cakesportal.in with your order number, clear images/videos, delivery details, and any other information reasonably required to verify the issue.

Cakesportal may offer replacement, redelivery, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or refund depending on the nature of the complaint, product type, order status, delivery status, and availability. For perishable products such as cakes, flowers, plants, fruits, sweets, chocolates and similar gift items, refund or replacement will be considered only after verification by our support team.

Cakesportal cannot be held responsible or guarantee refunds in cases where:

  • The sender/customer provided an incorrect, incomplete, unreachable, or false delivery address.
  • The recipient was unavailable, premises were locked, the recipient refused delivery, or delivery could not be completed due to recipient/customer-side issues.
  • The product quality issue was caused by improper handling, storage, delay, damage, or misuse after delivery.
  • The complaint is raised after the applicable complaint window mentioned in these Terms.
  • The order has already been prepared, dispatched, attempted, delivered, or deemed delivered as per the Delivery & Shipping Policy.

If Cakesportal is unable to deliver all or part of an accepted order due to product unavailability, delivery limitations, operational issues, vendor/seller confirmation failure, or any other reason from our side, we will notify the customer and provide an eligible refund, replacement, coupon/store credit, or wallet credit for the undeliverable part, as applicable.

Refund Mode: Refunds may be issued to the original payment method, store wallet, coupon, or store credit depending on the reason for refund, payment mode, order status, and customer communication. If Cakesportal cancels an order due to non-availability or inability to deliver, the refund will normally be issued to the original payment method unless the customer agrees to coupon, wallet, or store credit.

Refund Processing Time: Once a refund is approved by Cakesportal, we will initiate/process the refund within 10 to 15 business days from the date of refund approval, subject to verification of order details, payment status, cancellation/refund reason, bank/payment gateway confirmation, and correct customer payment details.

After Cakesportal initiates the refund from its side, the time taken for the amount to reflect in the customer’s bank account, card, UPI, wallet, or original payment method may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card network, UPI provider, wallet provider, or other third-party payment processor. Cakesportal shall not be responsible for delays caused by such third parties after refund initiation.

Refund Delay and Compensation Limitation: In case of cancellation, non-delivery, failed delivery, wrong order, duplicate payment, defective product, service issue, or any other approved refund case, Cakesportal’s liability shall be limited to the eligible refund amount actually paid by the customer for the affected order/product/service, except where a higher liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Cakesportal shall not be liable to pay any additional compensation, penalty, interest, damages, mental agony charges, emotional distress charges, humiliation charges, opportunity loss, loss of occasion, legal notice charges, advocate fees, litigation expenses, courier charges, travel expenses, or any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising only due to refund processing delay, order cancellation, non-delivery, delivery delay, or service issue, except where such liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Delay in refund processing due to operational issues, seller/vendor confirmation, payment gateway settlement, bank delay, technical error, incorrect customer details, chargeback/dispute, suspected fraudulent transaction, force majeure, or third-party processing delay shall not be treated as fraud, cheating, or intentional misconduct by Cakesportal unless finally determined by a competent authority.

Nothing in this Refund Policy shall limit any statutory rights available to the customer under applicable Indian law.

We will not accept any requests for product exchanges.

Refunds, replacements, or redelivery may be considered only in genuine and verified cases. If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different product, you must email us at support@cakesportal.in or customer@cakesportal.in within 24 hours of receiving the product, along with your order number, clear images/videos, and complete details of the issue.

Our representative may ask for additional details, images, videos, or product condition confirmation. Your cooperation is required so that we can verify and resolve the complaint quickly.

Only in exceptional and verified cases will Cakesportal issue a refund for damaged or defective products. Depending on the nature of the complaint, Cakesportal may offer replacement, redelivery, coupon/store credit, wallet credit, or refund. Once approved, refunds will be initiated/processed within 10 to 15 business days, subject to bank/payment gateway timelines and the Refund Policy.

  • Only products that are covered by our warranty terms can be returned. These terms can be found under the product description section of our website. All orders placed via our website www.cakesportal.in are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Warranty is only available for manufacturing defects. It cannot be claimed on defects caused by mishandling or normal wear and tear.

These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use this site, subject to your continued compliance with the Terms and Conditions. This site may be used only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. For any claim arising from an order, cancellation, refund, delay, non-delivery, failed delivery, defective product, wrong product, duplicate payment, service issue, website use, product use, third-party delivery, vendor/seller issue, or any transaction through the website, Cakesportal’s maximum liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the affected order/product/service, except where a higher liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Cakesportal does not voluntarily accept liability for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, including but not limited to mental agony, emotional distress, humiliation, loss of occasion, loss of goodwill, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, legal notice charges, advocate fees, litigation expenses, courier charges, travel expenses, or any other additional compensation beyond the eligible refund/replacement value, unless such liability is mandatorily imposed by applicable law or ordered by a competent court, consumer commission, or government authority.

Cakesportal and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives, vendors, sellers, delivery partners, courier partners, consultants, and service providers shall not be liable for delays, non-performance, failed delivery, refund delay, payment delay, or service failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, lockdowns, strikes, curfews, riots, political disturbance, natural calamities, bank/payment gateway delays, technical failures, incorrect customer details, recipient unavailability, force majeure events, courier delays, seller/vendor delays, or third-party processing delays.

Cakesportal and its affiliates are not liable for damages arising from the consumption, use, storage, handling, or misuse of products after delivery, or from products/services provided, fulfilled, manufactured, delivered, or processed by third parties, vendors, sellers, courier partners, or local delivery partners. Any claim relating to such third-party service or product issue may also need to be raised directly with the concerned third party where applicable.

This limitation of liability is an important condition for providing access to the website, services, products, and delivery network. This section shall prevail over any inconsistent or conflicting provision in these Terms, except to the extent such limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

Nothing in this section shall limit any statutory rights available to the customer under applicable Indian law.

Cakesportal may pursue legal action against any user who is suspected of engaging in fraudulent transactions on the site. This includes the collection costs, the cost of products, and the fees of lawyers. Cakesportal has the right to bring legal action against any User involved in fraudulent transactions on the Site.
